J&B Scotch Whisky


COCKTAIL J&B MANHATTAN

INGREDIENTS
60ml J&B
15ml sweet vermouth
15ml dry vermouth
1 dash bitters

METHOD
Swirl with ice to chill, pour into a cocktail glass, and garnish with a maraschino cherry.


COCKTAIL J&B MOJITO

INGREDIENTS
  • 50ml J&B
  • 20ml lime juice
  • 20ml sugar syrup
  • 3/4 mint leaves
  • 20ml soda

METHOD
'Tamp' the mint leaves in the bottom of a highball. Add all other ingredients and fill with crushed ice. Stir well and top with soda. Garnish with a mint sprig.


COCKTAIL J&B OLD CITY WALLS

INGREDIENTS
  • 50ml J&B
  • 50ml espresso
  • 25ml honey
  • 5 green cardamom pods
  • (infused into the coffee with the honey)
  • 100ml water

METHOD
Ensure the coffee is warmed on a very low heat for 10min to allow cardamom to infuse properly. Strain the coffee to remove the cardamom pod and then add the honey. Next add the coffee mixture and all of the remaining ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice, shake and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with 3 whole cardamom pods.


COCKTAIL J&B SOUR

INGREDIENTS
  • 50ml J&B
  • 20ml lemon juice
  • 20ml sugar syrup
  • half egg white (optional)
  • dash Angostura bitters

METHOD
Add all ingredients, apart from the bitters, to a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake hard. Strain into a 10oz tumbler filled with fresh ice. Add the dash of bitters and garnish with a lemon wedge.
